Dove back into freelancing after a brief hiatus during the first 90 days of my 9 to 5.

It’s good to be back!

Random gripe about tech support:

Don’t you hate it when you are clearly explaining to someone what to enter into the address bar of their browser (for example “subdomain.domain.com”) and they decide since it’s the internet they need to add “www” before it (www.subdomain.domain.com) which isn’t a valid url? DO WHAT I SAY!

I have decided my page has been ugly for too long so I’m working on a new design. It’s easy to only devote time to my pay-projects and forget to devote time to the hobby stuff.

My new genealogy site

I recently got back into genealogy and set up a page where family members can log in and collaborate with me (contact me for the address). I hadn’t been extremely interested in it since about the 5th grade, but the info I had from back then (mostly verbally researched) was enough to give me a good head start.

I’ve been adding to it lately using familysearch.org, ancestry.com and a few others. I’ve made some real progress as it covers about 8 generations so far. Feel free to register and contribute if you know something I don’t.
