I installed DMFI on my Neverwinter Nights server (I love it when I update), got a small group on their Sunday (Me, Eric, Anna, and Faye) and even got to DM a little!
Woot.
Just makes me want to update that much more next weekend.
(Plus 4.0 with Jose Friday and Saturday was fun as hell)
Jose, Big-John and I started a new campaign last night with Jose DMing.
It was the first time any of us had played 4th edition, the first time Jose had DMed, and the first time Big-John ever played an RPG.
Everyone did great, and we’re on again for this Friday!
I was originally very skeptical of 4th edition but now that I’ve played it I like it overall. Sure I have nitpicks *cough*races*cough* but I think as a whole it’s good. I especially like not having to wait for casters to rest all the time.
Street Fighter 4 is supposedly finished and ready to release in arcades (A console version with extras will follow)
Here are screenshots of the 5 new characters (in order) Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, Rufus, Seth.
Additionally Akuma is said to be included, and possibly Gouken/Sheng Long, but there aren’t any images as it is a “secret”.
More new characters are expected on the console release.
I will of course update sfrpg.com with the new characters as well when I know more about them.
It will be out soon, but the 3 core books are already available via torrent!

In honor of Gary Gygax we played 1st edition “Tomb of Horrors” Module. Sooo out of date, but strangely still playable.
Oh and I made a kid cry, that sucked.
Also he completed his Tiger Mural, which is awesome.
Gary Gygax, creator of Dungeons and Dragons died today at the age of 69.

been a while since i last posted.. hmm, hurt my knee skating. I think i have something now that im gonna feel my whole life. a “bad knee”. found a place to study brazilian jiu jitsu thats really close by, and its by a guy who studied directly under the gracies! I dunno if i said or not but i found ppl to game with and ive been gaming a while. also, im teaching jenny to play streetfighter. shes only been playing a few days and she can already do super moves and a few specials. im impressed! also im about to get hired on permanently @ my temp job (despite my forklift mishap) ok, so i think my journals up to speed now.
videogames, DnD, beer n pool. I need to hang out with the tuffies. we’re drifting apart.
