This time instead of using some crappy home remedy like tomato sauce or vodka I used a non-crappy home remedy from the internet:

Mix

  • 1 Quart (32 ounces) of 3% hydrogen peroxide
  • 2 Tbsp liquid dish soap
  • 1/2 cup baking soda (NOT baking powder)

Worked like a charm!

  • Received an important certificate in the mail
  • And I even found where I could buy one of those political yard-signs I’ve been looking for.

Nice sunny days, seriously couldn’t get much better.

She was limping and barfed, then later scratching like crazy and swelling (alergic reaction?). She was putzing around like she would die, I carried her all the way home she was so pathetic.

After a half a benadryl and some soothing shampoo she was doing much better. Better still after a good nights sleep.

Total strangers do not like physically managing your bad tempered pet. Come on, what makes you think letting your dog roam free in public is a good idea?

I always keep Gertrude on a leash but that doesn’t do a ton of good when the other dog is running free.

While adding the caption it occurred to me how many potential foot-in-mouth moments must be in winter sports where asians are concerned.

“Look at those slopes”

“What beautiful slopes”

“Yuichiro Miura is king of the slopes!”

“The germans are really tearing up the slopes today!”

“Canadian gold-medalist Ross Rebagliati conquered the slopes at the 18th Winter Olympics in Nagano Japan”

Has this ever happened in a major sportscast?
I want to see a reporter say something like that to an asian skier and get bitch slapped for it!

Thank goodness I have super long leashes or I would have been 4 feet away from them when we passed it.

Luckily for me I have a expansive network of people to rely on when I need lectures about their care.

After two bottles of vodka, two quarts of vinigar, six cans of tomato juice, and gallons and gallons of water being dumped on them, I doubt they will do that again (not really).
