Faye and I saw a UFO at her place. I call it a UFO because that’s what it was, unidentified. I’m not going to jump to the conclusion that it was a flying saucer or something.

I love staying out there because the sky is so clear in the country compared to my neighborhood. You can really see the stars quite well, and with all the crickets on top of that it reminds me a lot of home.

So there we were, walking the dogs in the middle of the night. I let Gert back inside and reclined on the deck for stargazing while Faye was still trying to get Bruiser to do his business in the yard.

The clouds were really low and it was very windy. I remember shortly after I sat down they blew out of the way like a curtain being drawn back and the stars were beautiful.

What I noticed was a blue/white light with a companion (joined) red light that didn’t seem to maintain the same facing. It seemed really high up but crossed the sky very quickly compared to planes of that altitude when you see them, implying extreme high speed. Also it did not move in anything resembling a straight line like a plane would, and even stopped completely at times or doubled back.

It was weird and the pitch-dark yard started to get really creepy about then. Faye went in but I stayed out to watch. Still have no idea what it was but I can’t rule out the mundane. It was fun though.
