LASIK: Eye Bruising

November 2nd, 2009

Here are a couple neat pics of my eye-bruises from LASIK surgery.

This is perfectly normal, harmless, painless, and goes away in a couple of weeks.

It is simply blood that has rushed to the surface when they held my eyeball still by exposing it to a slight vacuum.

Eye Bruises

Jeepers, creepers, where'd ya get them peepers? At peepers-r-us of course!

Hey, I started looking for information with regards to Lasik eye surgery and I i saw your blog site while searching msn. That is precisely the material I was in need of. I am passing along the link to my buddie seeing as he can also take advantage of this. Very good job:)

this happened to me after my procedure. it was only above and to the left sides of my iris. the brusing does not hurt and the dr. said it will take about a month to go away. i am now post op 5 days. yes it has to do with the suction pressure. my sister is a scuba diver and had a slight goggle mishap and had pressure do the same thing to her eyes. they were worse though but she is fine and the brusing went away.
