Non profit org for families in need
July 7th, 2008It started as just volunteering to do web design for a local charitable non-profit, but ended up with me being on the board of directors. I just attended my first meeting.
The group organizes fun events (very golf-centric) and then donates the proceeds to needy families (something they had been doing before he made it an official non-profit)
Still waiting on 501c3 status (applied for). Edit: We were granted 501(c)3 status.
